LOCATION

In Part One of the program, students will work at one of our locations across New York City. In Part Two of the program, students will attend sessions at Stuyvesant.

Part One

As part of the application process, you will be asked to rank your choices for where you want to attend Part One classes. We will do our best to give everyone their top choice.

  1. St. Francis College - 180 Remsen Street, Brooklyn

  2. M.S. 61 - 400 Empire Blvd, Brooklyn

  3. I.S. 383 - 1300 Greene Ave, Brooklyn, NY

Part Two

During the second phase, all students will come to Stuyvesant High School. The program will provide free bus service to Stuyvesant High School, and back. School buses will pick children up from the location they attended Part One classes.

STUDENT EXPECTATIONS

StuyPrep is 100% free for all students accepted into the Program. We will provide materials, instruction, and transportation to-and-from Stuyvesant (during Part Two).

We expect all participants in the program to come prepared each week, having completed all assigned work, and having invested time into independent study.

We also expect students to attend all sessions, be on time, and to show proper respect for their peers and the staff operating the program.

A student's acceptance into the StuyPrep program does not guarantee that he or she will be invited to continue in the program to its end. In particular, StuyPrep will choose not to invite students to participate in Part Two of the program in cases of unexplained absences, lateness, poor behavior, or lack of motivation.
